Meet Timothy Watters MBA, CFP®

Tim is a brilliant steward of capital. He is a voracious reader and is constantly learning new concepts. Tim holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology & Economics from the State University of New York at Albany. Tim also earned a MBA in Finance & Marketing from Pace University and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.

Tim is an accomplished wealth manager with a track record of helping clients achieve prosperity and peace of mind. Tim has over 30 years of investment and financial planning experience. Tim started Watters Financial in 1990 with his wife and partner Maura. Tim met Maura in a business class during his MBA program. To this day he will tell you that meeting Maura was best part of his MBA program. Tim and Maura started WFS with a focus on providing independent and unbiased advice at a time when it was mostly unavailable.

Tim and his wife Maura are long term residents of Ramsey, New Jersey. He is the father of three Eagle Scouts and a Gold Scout. In his spare time Tim enjoys leading wilderness trips for the Boy Scouts, Catskills 3500 Hiking Club and the Appalachian Mountain Club.
